For our robot production we design and manufacture our own clamping devices. The cost is the all-important point. We have 75 magazine locations in our robot and are reliant on fitting them with universally applicable clamping devices.
The manufacturing or repeatability play no decisive role in robot production. If necessary, we get the accuracy during series production directly on the workpiece via a probe. Position errors of the basic rotation and of the offset can be compensated extremely accurately. Only the situation in the XY-plane can not be corrected.
And this is exactly where the advantages of our clamping devices are shown. When clamped, the position of the workpiece in the XY-plane is extremely accurate and repeatable!
